ON THE DAY:
CAT 07 was all about making a decision on the day of the exam. The quants was much tougher than the previous year and DI was a breeze. I figured that cut-offs would be higher for DI than quants and so spent more time on DI. Worked out well for me.So, dont go in with a fixed plan in your mind that you will attempt 15 qns (out of 25 say) in each section. You may not need to in some sections and you may need to exceed in some.
PREP:
All i can say is that the SIMCATs and MOCKCATs were the reason i was able to make that decision. I know that IMS faculty would have told you to analyze any test you write. Believe me ,that helps!!!
JOB DONE?
This is just a shout-out to those who feel that clearing CAT or XAT etc is half the job done. The test is only 10% of the job. After attending all these GD-PI processes, I can tell you that clearing the test is the easiest part. The toughest part is yet to come.
